Here are some recent pictures of Lois and her orphans. She now has 4 lambs and 17 kids. She's done a fantastic job taking care of these babies. When these orphans come to the farm we never know if they will live or not. Some of them are in pretty bad shape. She's only lost 2 out of 23 total. For the first few weeks they are given fresh milk 2-3 times every day. After they are strong they are given a ration of Brad's organic feed along with plenty of tree clippings and grass. All of the goats and sheep are extremely tame - almost too tame!! You can't walk in their pen without being climbed on, nibbled on or pushed down!!
