Common Garter Snake

You'd think I'd cringe or scream at the thought of my 10 year old daughter bringing a snake into the house. Actually, I'm pretty used to it. Whenever a child, or Brad, finds a snake they love to bring it in the house and show mom! Brad has always had an appreciation for snakes and over the years has taught all three of our children to respect them and at the same time to enjoy them. They all know which snakes are poisonous and which ones are harmless.

After Lois came to show me her great find - she returned the baby snake to where she found it.

Leopard Frog

Floyd & I were moving the cows to some fresh pasture & spotted this frog "hiding" in the grass..

Raw Dairy From Happy, Healthy and Clean, (Jersey/ Guernsey) Grass-Fed, Milk Cows!

Our milk cows are fed excellent quality organic pasture and forages (clover, brome, orchard grass, timothy, and alfalfa); organic mineral supplement; free choice salt. Clover Hill's chickens are allowed to range outdoors in a large hoop house moved everyday so they can eat grass, weed seeds, insects and worms. They are also fed high quality certified organic (soy-free) grains, organic rye and/or barley sprouts and fermented milk products from our organic milk.
- Raising chickens outdoors in the sunshine and feeding them organic milk, organic fresh sprouts and grain results in more nutritious meat and healthier and humane conditions for the birds.

Our Hogs are raised on dirt and pasture with plenty of air, sunshine, and lots of space to do what pigs love to do - root in dirt!! Their main diet is our raw milk. Brad also feeds them organic, non-GMO feed.
