Something about sleeping babies - so adorable!!

Sleepy Piglets!

Wanted to share one of my favorite pictures of our piglets.  I love how serene and content they look next to their momma...

Floyd's Hereford Hogs Mud Bathing

Cows grazing in the harvested wheat field

Brad was preparing to mow the wheat stubble for straw when he noticed the field was thick with crab grass.  Instead of baling the straw he let the milk cows graze on it.  As you can see - they loved it!    This definitely was a gift from God.

"Lester", the bull , watching over his beautiful herd!!

Cows feasting on more crab grass.
Brad pastured the milk cows on Sorghum Sudan grass for the first time Wednesday morning - they were like a kid in a candy store; or a mom in an organic store!!  (:

Behind the Sorghum Sudan Grass is our field of non-GMO, organic corn.  The corn really looks great, thus far.  It's an absolute faith builder to see all the dry brittle pastures surrounding these two lush green fields.  God is definitely taking care of His cows during this record breaking drought.
